Farming with love

over two generations

a family tradition

our story

Angora Springs started out as small three acre property just outside of Dundas. A shed/barn was built and in 2007 and a few laying hens were purchased, one year later Lola and Chloe, two middle aged Angora goats, arrived!

Slowly the flock grew and a few years later we moved to a larger farm nearby.

Now we are home to a small flock of both angora goats and beautiful sheep that are a mix of Icelandic Ronmey breeds. All our yarns are a luxury blend of mohair, Romney, and Icelandic fibres.

The Farm

Our small farm is located between Dundas and Copetown in Treaty #3 Territory and in the Ontario Green belt. We use the most organic means possible for the animals and the land. We work with sustainable and ethical principles to regenerate the soil and reforest what areas we can. We strive to provide a safe and rich habitat for plants and animals alike.

The Wool

All of our wool is grown right here on the farm and processed in local Ontario woolen mills. Our mohair goats are shorn by hand with dress making shears, their beautiful mohair is blended with other wools at a local Ontario mill.
